Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 7, 2026
ossreplace.com participates in affiliate programs operated by cloud hosting providers including (but not limited to) DigitalOcean, Linode/Akamai, Vultr, Hetzner, and Hostinger. When you click a link on this site that takes you to one of these providers and then sign up for an account or make a qualifying purchase, ossreplace.com may receive a referral commission at no additional cost to you.
How this affects our content
We do not allow affiliate compensation to influence our editorial scoring, project rankings, or recommendations. Health scores, cost calculations, and security advisories are computed automatically from public data sources (GitHub, OSV.dev, package registries, and provider price lists). The same scoring methodology applies to all 11,000+ projects in our corpus regardless of whether the recommended hosting provider has an affiliate program with us.
You can verify this independently: our methodology is fully published at /methodology/ and the underlying scoring code runs on every refresh.
Our commitment
- We will never recommend a provider we would not personally use.
- We disclose every affiliate relationship on this page.
- We do not accept paid placements, sponsored entries, or pay-for-rank arrangements from any open-source project listed.
- We do not accept advertising from SaaS companies whose products are alternatives to projects in our directory (conflict of interest).
This disclosure is required by the United States Federal Trade Commission under 16 CFR Part 255.
